About the Author

Stefanie Annis was born and raised in sunny Southern California. Her passion for writing first began in the second grade when she was introduced to the wonderful world of creative writing. Many journals later, Coco the Chameleon was born. Coco is a character very personal to Stefanie, as she has struggled with self-acceptance for most of her life. Creating Coco's character has taught Stefanie to be confident in her own skin, and to truly appreciate herself for who she is. Her hope is that Coco's story will do the same for many others. When she isn't writing, you can find her designing handmade jewelry, chasing sunsets, making memories with her family, reading books, and spending time adventuring the great outdoors. Her inspiration to follow her dreams comes from her family who always encouraged her to do so.
